ONTARIO PRIMARY SCHOOLS TO TEACH ABOUT SEXUAL ABUSE

NDP MPP of Toronto's Parkdale/HighPark - Cheri DiNovo, is sponsoring Holly's Law as a Private Member's Bill and has, been given a nod of support, from Child and Youth Critic- PC MPP of Ottawa's Nepean-Carleton- Lisa MacLeod.

Holly's Law is in memory of Holly Jones, whose advocates from protect-kids.org; propose child friendly, affordable, in-school programs that will help children identify and cope with sexual abuse.

Such Child abuse prevention and intervention programs have already been successfully administered within the Ottawa and St Clair's Catholic School Boards. Let's make these gentle teachings about self-esteem, communication, choices, respect, touch and how to get help, mandatory in all Ontario Primary Schools.
